High Lane | Pennine Link is a group of local U3As. Representatives from High
Lane, Marple Bridge and Mellor, Marple, New Mills and District,
Romiley and Buxton meet two or three times a year to
discuss subjects of common interest.
Joint events are organised from time to time. The most recent of these was a Classical Music Recital given by Andrew Wilde, the celebrated pianist; an event on 7 October 2015 organised by Marple U3A and supported by the North West Music Trust. Pennine Link also sends representatives to the U3A North West Regional meetings which ensures members' views can be heard nationally. |
