A group of six members meets once a month to plan future holidays and one day visits.We usually have one holiday in Europe, two in the UK, a cruise and a selection of visits to places of historical interest either by coach or using our bus pass.Bookings are taken at the Wednesday meetings when more details are available.

Tour of Newman Brothers Coffin Works who made handles and nameplates for Churchill and the Queen Mother.
Afternoon own choice from Museum and Art Gallery (FREE) Pre-Raphaelite Paintings and Staffordshire Hoard, New Library of Birmingham (Free), Jewellery Quarter Museum (entrance fee).

Aug. 3rd

LEIGHTON HALL AND CARNFORTH STATION £17
Guided tour of the hall. Home of the Gillow furniture making family. Falconry DisplayCarnforth Station is where Brief Encounter was filmed and is now a Heritage Centre.

September IRELAND September 17th to 21st.
