You chose to lead the 4 of Spades, the suit bid by the opposition. This is not a good lead in No Trump, although it would have been all right in a trump contract. In No Trump, the declarer will be trying to establish long suits in both his hand and in the dummy, and it is likely that dummy's bid suit is a 5 card suit and by leading it, you are helping them to get it established.
