Dancing Improvers:-

Anyone for Salsa?Ballroom

This class takes place fortnightly during the winter months in the High Lane Village Hall on a Friday afternoon, 2.00pm - 4.00pm.
For the first hour, we concentrate on one particular dance.  The second hour is a mixed format of teaching and dancing.
There are two qualified teachers - Kath Taylor & Danny Bell

The class has been so successfull that we are having to limit the number to 12 couples and we already have a waiting list for next year.  Because of the larger numbers we have needed a better musical system.  This we have been able to buy from the increased income.

Notes

1.  A partner is needed but two ladies can dance together.
2.  No sequence dancing is taught
3.  There is also a Latin Class which takes place in the Scout Hut in Marple on Wednesday afternoons.
     This often coincides with the High Lane U3A General Meeting.  This coming term, however, no              dates coincide so any High Lane couples are welcome.

Dates & Cost

Ballroom:    Sept 19;  Oct 3, 17, 31;  Nov 14, 28 (6 classes)
                  Cost:   £15 per person per term.
Latin:          Oct 1, 14, 22;  Nov 5, 19;  Dec 3     (6 classes)
                  Cost:   £7 per person per term.

There is a free social afternoon for both classes on Dec 5th at High Lane.
