GERMAN GROUP
The German group is having its summer break but will meet up again on the 11th September. Members of the group will have this date confirmed by email or phone. As we missed out on a summer meal we hope to organise one in the near future.

The German group is having its summer break but will meet up again on the 11th September. Members of the group will have this date confirmed by email or phone. As we missed out on a summer meal we hope to organise one in the near future.
The group has 12 members of varying experience of the language but we hope that everyone learns something every week. We meet weekly on Friday at 9.30 at 42 Bowfell Drive and usually have some general conversation before reading a text which leads to discussion and enables us to learn some Landeskunde (knowledge of the country).
As yet we have not planned a Germany city break for this year. (In past years we have visited, Berlin, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Cologne and Munich). In June we hope to host a visit by members of the Adult Education Centre in Forchheim, Franconia and we'll try to match the excellent hospitality received there last year.
We enjoy socialising and take every opportunity to go out to lunch at local hostelries at appropriate times of the year.
