The Philosophy Group meets on the second Monday of the month at Sheila Harrop's, 2pm until 4pm.

Each meeting deals with a topic - either a philosopher, a school of philosophical thought, or an idea viewed from a philosophical perspective. Meetings take the form of a talk/presentation, followed by a focussed discussion.

The topics discussed so far are Plato, Aristotle, St Augustine, Thomas Aquinas and Peter Abelard and in the next few months we shall be discussing Descartes, Spinoza and Leibniz.
